Description of the Event
The NSS unit 76 of our college organized the Freshers Day Celebration and Magazine publication on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the College Seminar Hall at 9:30 a.m. The program was inaugurated by the college Principal, Sri. Shalimon A. V. After the inauguration, the magazine 'Inspiring Roots' was published by the Principal, Staff Editor Smt Vidhya T K, Student Editor Sajana S. After the magazine release, our principal welcomed the first-year students. Freshers Day celebration is the day when seniors and juniors bond and unite. As part of the Freshers Day, NSS Volunteers distributed snacks and juice for the students.

Description of the Event
On October 2 nd in remembrance of the Father of our Nation, the NSS Unit of our college organised a cleaning drive to promote public sanitation. The cleaning programme was held at Marutharoad Panchayat is association with Haritha Seva Samithi of Marutharoad Panchayat. The program was inaugurated by the Marutharoad Grama Panchayat President Sri. Unnikrishnan P . After the inauguration, the programme commenced with a pledge of Malinya Mukhta Nava Keralam. The NSS volunteers under the guidance of Haritha Seva Samithi cleaned the Marutharoad Panchayat Canal and it’s surroundings. The combined force of NSS volunteers and members of Haritha Seva Samithi undertook a comprehensive cleaning campaign. Engaging with the local community they shared the insights on the significance of cleanliness in line with Gandhi's teaching. The celebration of Gandhi Jayanti through this cleaning campaign under scored the importance of integrating environmental consciousness into community service.

Description of the Event
The NSS unit of our college organised a seminar on the topic “ AI Unleashed -A Glimpse into the Future” and a poster making competition on 26/09/2023 at 9 30 a.m for Higher Secondary School students in Palakkad. The program was inaugurated by the Marutharoad Grama Panchayat president Sri Unnikrishnan P and Sri Vinesh S Kumar, Ward member of 18, gave the felicitation. Smt. Shery P Hamza the HOD of the Electronics Department voted for thanks. The topic given for the poster making competition was AI in daily life. The poster making competition's first, second, third prize winners were Ananya P N ( PMG HS Palakkad), Farhana Aslam (MES English Medium School, Olvakode), Abhishek H (BEM HS Palakkad) respectively. Palakkad Milma Dairy, Kallepully sponsored the prizes. 50 students participated in the event from different higher secondary schools in Palakkad.

The IHRD is hosting an international summit on Generative AI and the Future of Education. In conjunction with that, we held a pre-conclave event called 'poster making competition' on September 20, 2023, at 10 a.m. at our Kallepully campus and venoli campus. There is particapated 11 students and the topic is ‘future of AI ‘. The students enthusiastically performed and they were actively endulged the topic. The competition was amazing and all the poster was beautifully expressed the topic . Through amazing cordinators we selected our winners and awarded.
Generative AI and the Future of Education Pre-Conclave event "Quiz Contest"

Description of the Event
The IHRD is hosting an international summit on Generative AI and the Future of Education. In conjunction with that, we held a pre-conclave event called "Quiz Contest" on September 21, 2023 at 10 a.m. at our Kallepully campus. The screening round selects 21 students from among the 38 students for the final round. In the final competition, seven different teams, numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, each have three participants. The quiz's rules and regulations were explained at the start. It was a fun three-round competition with objective questions with options, Wh questions, and picture identification that kept the students entertained for an hour. By answering the questions quickly, the students demonstrated their brilliance. The first prize will be given to Team No.7 [Gopi Krishnan of 3rd semester CS, Vipin of 5th semester Bcom, and Karthikeyan of 3rd semester EC]. The second prize will be shared by both teams, numbered 4 and 5. The staff and student coordinators of the pre-conclave event worked tirelessly to ensure the contest's success.

Description of the Event
Onam celebration of students of CAS Malampuzha was held on 24 th August 2023, Thursday in the college auditorium at 9.30 a.m. The program started with a prayer. The celebration was inaugurated by the Honorable Principal Shalimon A. V by lighting the lamp. After the inauguration various dance programs and competition like musical chair, bun eating, bitter gourd eating were arranged by the students. Students from all the departments participated in the competition and won the prize. In the afternoon session there was a sumptuous onasadhya. The celebration has come to an end at 4 30 p.m by the tug of war which was won by the students from E3 and C3 classes.

By the coordination of Kerala Tourism department and district Tourism promotion Council,there is conducted an Athapookalam competition on 22 August 2023.From our college five students participated for the competition and four students went to help them.On the same day another ten students from First year B.Com, they participated in Megathiruvathira at Indoor Stadium Palakkad.The program was beautiful and they enjoyed it a lot.The Megathiruvathira was held by many colleges and it was a enthusiatic experience for the students.They are very much encouraged and actively participated in the program.
INTERSHIP-ITI PRIVATE LIMITED PALAKKAD 2023

Description of the Event
The ITI Private Limited one-week internship provided a thorough examination of information technology. Discussion topics included networking, operating systems, web-development,and IT infrastructure. After orientation, the internship focused on server hardware and data security in-depth. In the discipline of computer science, basic HTML and PHP web development concepts were introduced. The culmination of the creative process was the building of a webpage using CSS. We acquired practical experience installing the Ubuntu OS. A review, career advice from HR Mr. Surendran, and a motivational speech by Mr. John marked the end of the internship. The certification ceremony and a vote of thanks signaled its conclusion. In conclusion, this internship gave us the information and skills we needed for a career in computer science.

An open selection of C – Zone Cricket team of our college was conducted on August 20 2023, 10 A. M at Fort Maidan. The chief guest was Mr. Venugopal C Level-1 BCCI, District Coach, Palakkad District Cricket Association. The function started with a welcome speech by the College General Captain Pravijith U. Then the chief guest addressed the students. He emphasized the qualities of a good Cricket player. Students from all the departments has participated in the selection. Selection process came to a close at 12 30 p.m.

An open selection of C – Zone Football team of our college was conducted on August 15 2023, 10 A. M at KSEB Ground. The chief guest was Mr. Anil Kumar M AFC ‘C’ Coach. He is also a Santhosh Trophy player. The function started with a welcome speech by the College General Captain Pravijith U. Then the chief guest addressed the students. He emphasized the importance of student's involvement in physical activities. Students from all the departments has participated in the selection. 25 students were selected for the college team. Selection process came to a close at 12 30 p.m.

Quiz Competition 2023

Description of the Event
On behalf of Voice for Nature and NSS unit 76, Final Quiz competition was conducted in the college on 14th August 2023 based on the topic 'Our Environment'. Out of the 54 students, 10 students are selected for final round in a preliminary Quiz competition which was conducted on 27th July 2023. In final competition, Five different teams namely, Team A, Team B, Team C, Team D and Team E with two participants in each team give tough battle to each other. Rules and regulations of the quiz were explained at the beginning. It was interesting 3-round competition, including objective questions with options round, rapid-fire round and picture identification round which engaged the students for one hour. The First prize was awarded to Team A(Sneha G of 5th sem CS and Vijay M D of 3rd sem CS). The second prize was awarded to Team C (Subinlal of 5th sem Bcom and Aiswarya R of 3rd sem CS). It was very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience. All the members of the club were worked efficiently to make the competition a grand success. The winners were awarded with momentos by the Principal Shri Shalimon A V on Independence Day celebration and the consolation prizes were given to all finalists.
