Anti-Ragging Cell

The College of Applied Science, Malampuzha enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form. In accordance with the guidelines of the Government of Kerala, University of Calicut, and the University Grants Commission (UGC), the institution is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all students.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Cell

  • Ensure a ragging-free campus.
  • Promote a secure and inclusive academic environment.
  • Address complaints promptly and confidentially.
  • Conduct awareness programmes and counselling sessions.
  • Monitor student welfare and prevent any form of harassment.

Penalties for Ragging

  • Suspension from attending classes
  • Debarment from examinations
  • In case of serious issues, Legal action under anti-ragging laws

Anti-Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted with faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives to ensure implementation of anti-ragging policies and maintain campus safety.
